Cryonics
Just watched a little of Channel 5's programme on cryonics. Does anyone know of any attempts to officially (or otherwise) revive anyone. I'm sure some Dr Frankenstein's out there must have had a go!!!

It all seemed bizarre to me, (ex nurse) how on earth can reincarnation take place when the body is decomposing minutes after death, how is the damage to the body during cryogenics be repaired and what bloody fruitcake have had their head cut off!!! My main point is, I personally wouldnt fancy coming back in 50, 100, 500, yrs, as I am now. what would it be like then. MY children think Im ancient now, when i mention decimilisation, or houses costing 500 or threpence to go to the pictures. Sounds like total madness to me. When your, dead thats it, end of!!! Dont mess with nature.
decomposition isnt taking place minutes after death because the people are cryogenicaly frozen. that is the point. the fast speed of freezing and the constant high temperatures preserve the body in its current state, but nobody can be revived as our technology is not yet advanced enough. i dont think that anybody would have tried to revive anybody yet. you never hear of news reports of an accident victim having their status change from dead to alive and until we do, all we can do is freeze people
They dont actually freeze people, the use a process called vitrification..
