growing human organs?

I have a weird question. Coming from a small brain like mine i have no idea how they grown human organs like livers etc but i was wondering since they can grow organs isn't it possible one day to grow animal organs on the basis of consuming them so animals are not killed for our food? And i was also wondering if i am the only one smart enough or stupid enough to think of this>?

Gowing an organ is v dificult, livers have not been done yet and I think it is limited to bladder and skin ..... For food you would need to grow muscle. The most efficient way to do this is in an animal .... would you pay �30000 for a pork chop?
