'There is a big difference in looking at cells that are in vivo (inside a living creature) or in vitro (outside a living organism, like in a medium).'
Is this statement correct? Can you explain why please?

Yes it is correct.

For me to answer further, I'd need to know the course your undertaking. The last thing I want to do is baffle you with science.
Yeah I think they want an asnwer that discussed the milieu that the cell is in.
and in the body it is surrounded by other cells and in a glass vessel it is surrounded by nutirents that you ahve put there.
Not surprsiingly the two sytems will react differently
