Hangovers
My mate , and his father too as i happens, doesn't get hangovers no matter how much he drinks or what mix of drinks he's offered. i have tried many times to get him to suffer as we all do but to no avail - except that i'm as sick as a dog obviously. Any thoughts why this should be and should i sell his body to Beechams? He's in his mid 30's by the way so youthful vigour can't be the reason anymore...

To get rid of that banging headache the morning after I can only suggest lots of water and some paracetamol.
Appart from those methods to treat the symptoms, there isn't really a cure- unfortunately.

the headache you get is because your brain swells up and rubs on the inside of your skull or something. This happens because you are dehydrated or something. I have found that milk thistle tablets are a great preventative measure. You can buy them from boots, take one before you start drinking, and one after. Come morning, you won't have a hang over.
