the most fundamental requirements for movement are? a-a change in position and a period of time b-a change in position or a change in state c-a change in position and a chage in form d-a cahnge in position and an effect on surrounding objects
a.
Movement involves a change of position and since an object cannot occupy two places at the same time, there must be a period of time for the change in position to occur.
Except that the classic double-slit experiment indicates that electrons, protons and other sub-atomic particles governed by quanum mechanics can be in two or more places at the same time... Therefore the most correct answer would be (b) since it includes or and the other's require cause and affect by the use of the word and ... my opinion only...

I agree that your answer is fundamentally correct, but I was answering in the context of the other questions from the same source. The other questions suggest that delving into quantum mechanics is beyond the scope of the question, especially if the person answering the question had to explain it at any stage.
I would agree with you, HWKE... I probably read too much into the part of the question that includes "...the most fundamental requirements...". besides, it enlarges the opportunity for further discussion, no? (Thanks for the response, by the way!)
