I need a calculation for the energy required to pump a liquid (oil in this case) via a pipeline. This can be theoretical e.g. assume no hills, etc.

Inputs will be the viscosity of the oil, throughput rate, the pipeline distance, presumably also pipeline diameter/pressure/temperature (not all will be required as they are interdependent). Will I need any other inputs?
