Can anybody tell me how far the "north star" is from Earth

For some perspective Polaris is about:

50 times the distance to the �next brightest star� (after the Sun) Sirius at ~8.6ly

100 times the distance to the �closest bright star� Alpha Centauri aka Rigil Kentaurus at ~4.36ly

~27 million times the distance to, �the brightest closest star�, our Sun ~150 million kilometers or

~10 billion times the distance from Earth to the Moon, on average about 385,000 kilometers
