How rack and Pinion works?
i would like to know how to calculate the output velocity of the rack (v) if we know the angular velocity driven into the pinion, is it still use the equation Wp/velocity ratio?

The rack has the same velocity as the pinion circumference at this radius where they mesh together. So, if I remember back to thirty years ago correctly, the rack velocity is the angular velocity (in radians) of the pinion times the effective radius.
