Why doesn't vodka make your pee white??

They say if you drink water then your pee will become clearer, so why isn't this the case if I was to drink just vodka and tonic/soda/lemonade?? They are all clear too. Thanks Science Folk - xx

Pale yellow is about right - too dark means you're de-hydrated, too light means too much water. Alcohol de-hydrates you.

I guess it's the same for girls.

water rehydrates you thus making ur pee clearer (more dilute) Alcohol dehydrates you thus making ur pee darker (more concentrated)

Nothing to do with the colour of the drink i'm afraid! Would be cool if it was tho!! Imagine the colour of ur wee if you'd just drank loads of ribena!!
