What will happen by about year 2140?

Scientists predict that something very negative already happening to humans will be completed around 2140A.D..It does not concern the environment,diseases,lack of goods,life expectancy.It will happen to humans themselves.What is it?

I thought the world was supposed to end on 21st December 2012, when the Mayan Calendar comes to the end of its present Great Year.

I have a newspaper article which i kept some time ago concerning the Mayan calendar.
It reads as follows:- 'Dramatic shifts in the Earth's crust could wreak havoc across the world.Author Graham Hancock says in his book Fingerprints of the Gods,that that awaits us in 2012, and he cites ancient Mayan calendars to prove it.'
Gulp,sounds a bit nasty doesn't it?

This is a serious, scientific question. I do not know the answer yet. Further to the exclusions in the Question above, it does not concern allergies. Also it will happen to people in general, irrespective of age sex,etc.
