Does anyone know of a website where I can type in my post code and it will come up with which stars I can see from there?
I used to have a CD like this years ago but lost it :-( so there must be a awebsite somewhere!!

It's not quite what you asked for but try http://www.stellarium.org/ It will showw you the stars in the sky from anywhere and any time you choose. With or without star names, constellations and all sorts. It's fantastic.
