Milky teeth
Hi,
I have a five year old who eats a lot of sweet. On her down jaws right side I see a black small hole as cavity on her grinder. I would like to know if the same teeth will be replaced with a new tooth later when she starts to loose her milky teeth soon.
She had the same problem on the right side where i had to fill it . Now i am more worried that in future she wnt have any problem because of the filling and if she does what shall i do to avoid the pain etc.

Awareness of brushing is of all parent. but a prediction of when a decay can take a toll is not. Plus as i am a mother I am also ware fo the consumption of sweets is daily life and for the filling outrageous in what term as is it is not better than a decay.

The milk teeth will be replaced by adult teeth regardless of whether they are whole or not. Whether those new ones last any significant time seems debatable given the bad habits the child appears to have picked up.
Sara3'sa comments were entirely appropriate. Sara3 was not saying filling a cavity was disgraceful but the fact that it needed to be done. It is simply disgraceful that any 5 year old has fillings because of decay and you've already admitted you allow the child to eat a lot of sweets. The consumption of sweets should not be 'daily life' but an occasional treat. Who is responsible for the child being able to eat all these sweets if not its parent(s)?
You also appear to suggest that you have carried out the filling on your child's tooth yourself. If this is the case, then you need to get the child some proper medical treatment from a qualified dentist.
