we also know that a water molecule is an oxygen molecule with a hydrogen molecule on either side like a little boomerang. my question is this... what does either a hydrogen or water loecule feel like,, are they wet, dry or neither due to their incedibly small size ??? been bugging me for a time now. any thoughts would be great, go easy as its my first post. cheers andy.
The phenomenon of water feeling wet is a macroscopic one and relies on a huge number of hydrogen bonded water molecules. A single molecule would have no effect on a nerve so no sensation would be possible.
