Yes, that's the final equation but the answer depends on the level of expected knowledge of the student. You may want this or not as the case may be:

At cathode: 4H2O + 4e- --> 4OH- + 2H2
At anode: 2H2O --> O2 + 4H+ + 4e-

Net reaction: 6H2O --> 4OH- + 4H+ + 2H2 + O2
Simplified to : 2H2O --> 2H2 + O2
