What is the typical pH value at rest in muscle cells?

Thanks for that, but no I'm not planning to do an autopsy on myself. Usfeul article though.
The mean pH of skeletal or smooth muscle is about 7.1. However, this pH is not uniform within the cell, as the different structures (mitochondria, nucleus etc.) have differing pH values. The actual values within the cell, incorporating all the structures, are between 6.65 and 7.2 approximately.

Myocardial muscle has a slightly lower pH, at an average of around 6.9.
