Which elements in the periodic table are colored and which ones are colorless? Which groups?

I'd politely suggest that you go back and review your chemistry notes for the answers to your questions.

The answer to your first and second questions should be easy for you to find from your notes or you can try Googling them. Your third question is a little harder.

This is probably the reason why you posted your question almost seven hours ago and no one else has replied. Most people on here like to see that someone has at least tried to find the answers themselves before seeking help on The Answebank

Hear, hear, prof. I would guess that Khewlings is American, from his spelling of 'color', 'colored' and 'colorless', but surely valence (or valency) is spelled the same in the UK and the USA. A 'valance' is a hanging border of drapery, or (in N America) a pelmet.
