I have recently had my temporary denture replaced by a permanent bridge and have quite a lot of Steradent-type tablets that I no longer need. They must be good for effortlessly cleaning something apart from fake gnashers. Any ideas?
Have a stainless steel sink? Put two tablets in about half a bowl of warm water before you go to bed and marvel at the sight the next morning.
Coffee ot tea stained cups...voila!
How about a tall slim bud vase or other glass item that's hard to reach the insides of. Presto Chango!
Works great on your dingy toilet bowl as well...
Err, I'm not with you Captain Spod. Googling "denture tablet uses" (without the quotes) brings up 117,000 links, many of which refer to many alternative uses of the tablets. Clearly, hundreds was an underestimate - it's more like thousands when each suggested use on each link is read.
Seven? I can't see how where you've got that figure from.
Forgive me, I was being facetious, also underestimating. I haven't checked all the available links, but the first few DO all list the same seven!
I think I'll probably wait until I have a really unusual need, e.g. removing snail slime from a sellotape dispenser, and carry out my own experiment thus adding to the sum of human knowledge.
