It is proposed that the DNA of 150 different indviduals will be closely studied to find the difference in their genes to the normal population to see what gives rise to diseases such as cancer, diabetes, etc.
If a sample was taken from a diseased organ and from normal tissue would the DNA be different? Would we come to the conclusion that the disease came from external factors in the environment? Are we likely to see a mutation in the diseased organ caused by transcription of the DNA?
