Yes
H2O is also a molecule as well as being a compound
a compound consists of more than one element. a molecule is the simplest part of a chemical. So H20 is a compound and a molecule as it consists of more than one element and it is the simplest part of the chemical water. H2 and O2 are diatomic molecules because they contain two atoms and consit of just one element.
