things moving around my neck2, lol!
okay, re-post from chatterbank. let's see what you scientists think!
today I wore a lightweight scarf, looping once around my neck, the ends hanging equally down my frontage, right and left. why does it then move around so that the right side is lower than the left? I straightened it lots of times but after about an hour, the right side was a good 6" lower than the left.
also, necklaces move (also to the right, I think). the clasp starts at the back, then works its way around to the right.
please explain! thank you :o)

It may be that the 'knit' of the scarf material makes it travel around your neck as you move, pretty much like a mat on a carpet when you walk on it. Anyone who has experienced walking through a field will know how fast an seed pod of some grasses will travel up your legs.
The necklace obviously has a pattern in the links so happens to travel to the right too.
