Telekinesis: real or not?

Is Telekinesis (moving objects with your mind instead of physical touch) real? If so, can you learn it or is it a gift? Does anybody know anyone who has it? Does the power of it vary? Sorry for so many questions but i always wondered about this.

A few years ago a large amount of money was put into a trust fund like the X prise so that anybody proving any paranormal fact could win it. It has never been claimed not even fakes like Uri Geller could prove a single fact. Makes you think!

i knew you would ask that. There is no scientific evidence to support telekinesis although a lot of people believe it exists. Attempts to make its kind more respectable - like giving it a scientific name - have not converted many skeptics. Popular mentalists such as Houdini and derren brown have successfully demonstrated how a skilled practitioner can give the impression of psychic powers using psychology and slight of hand.

Do you think that people are afraid of what other special ability people can do?

It's real. I have some degree of small-scale PK ability. I feel it's important to differentiate between the two kinds, because it's not all the same. Large-scale, the type typically seen in movies and television, involving the moving of large objects, is a much rarer level of ability, but it does exist also.

'Small-scale', on the other hand, refers to influence effected on a much smaller scale, which, by itself, might seem imperceptible to the human eye.. but it is every bit as valid, and can be used to accomplish a myriad of different purposes.. like that pesky pop machine that won't take your nickel. Small-scale PK, properly implemented, can be used to "push it through". This is not the end of its uses, but only the beginning. I would encourage everyone to try this. You might be quite surprised by the results. Start out small, and try to work your way up to larger goals.

PK, or telekinesis, by the way.. is really only another word for the expression 'mind over matter'. If you've ever seen or experienced this, then you've seen telekinesis.
