slugs - do they do any good in the garden?

I don't have any because the frogs and birds that live in my garden gobble them up. So they are good for attracting wildlife at least.

I haven't found anything yet, wish I had a hedgehog to eat them. They feel very unpleasant when you stand on one in the dark with bare feet.

They make a good meal for the birds.

Please don't hurt them, one of them may be mine. I lost my pet one when I took it walkies the other day. Cheeky thing slipped its leash and now I can't find it.

We always use slug pellets so we never find out.
