I was trying to scrape the ice off the bottom and tore a hole in it instead - ooopppsss

If it is just a small tear you could play McIver use some duct tape. Go on, you know you want to. Clean around it with a warm cloth first.

How on earth did you manage to put a tear in it, did you use a jackhammer? My freezer has an aluminium side and bottoms inside, doesn't yours?
