Will this eradicate Malaria for future generations or will nature overcome it and produce a new breed of super mosquitos?

It's a risk certainly but with the number of deaths malaria causes - it's got to be worth taling.

Smallpox and Polio are almost irradicated why not malaria.

Better use for GM than long shelf life strawberries!

Malaria as far as I know is curable, why not as a global community provide everyone with access to anti malalarial medicines for free?

I'm not sure you're right there everton.

I know that especially in SE asia there is growing tolerance to anti-malaria drugs and I think that once you've had it you get recurrance of symptoms.

As for the anti-malaria drugs they're quite serious medecines and you can't stay on them permanently - I was certainly pretty unwell after a month or so on them and wasn't better until I stopped taking them
