One of the best things about christmas is cake.....
Rich fruit with cherries and marzipan...Yule logs.... Mincemeat cake and mincemeat bakewell tart, polish honey cake and gingerbread.... part of the pleasure of the season all that baking..shortbread and boozy chocolate truffles too..
Is it not bad enough that we are being subjected to C******** ads on TV already without having to put up with all this seasonal jollification here too?
Please Boo, it's only September. Take it awayyyyyyyyyyyyyy! :-(
Just have to agree with you BOO,a great time for all especially the little ones.
I usually leave it until after Bonfire Night, then drive the family mad singing
carols until Twelth Night.
"Thanks again Ed, im totally loving what you did to the category. Gives me a warm fuzzy glow it does :-)"
Me too. I may run out of good cheer early at this rate though! I've promised myself to abuse ChatterBank horrendously when we're (much) closer to the time. Some will consider me evil for this.
O BOO - NOT YET PER-LEASE! Love Christmas but not in September - not had my "Summer" holiday yet!! But there again I did buy all my Christmas cards in a sale last week! .....
