Welcome, once again, to my favourite part of the site.

Do you find online shopping as painful as this?:

I don't, but sometimes it is close!

Ed calm down, We've not Halowe'en yet :)
I much prefer the hustle and bustle of the shops, the sounds and the smells
Haha, love it. But no, don't find it that painful, love online shopping. Where else can you buy shopping whilst in your PJ's and dressing gown without cleaning your teeth or brushing your hair? I've tried doing that in Asda and Tesco, im now barred from 'em :-(
And you can stop for sex too... can't do that in Harvey Nicks now can you...

Online shopping for heavy stuff and things like books/DVDs and CDs the money saved gets used for the fun browsing for stocking fillers and extras
Use a lot of charity sites Cats protection and RSPB are good as is National trust

I think my best Christmas shopping experience was the year that Boarders closed down. Did you see the vultures? (I was one of them)

It does have those benefits B00 & Rowan!

I like the shops too Bobbi, but not for everything.
"And you can stop for sex too... can't do that in Harvey Nicks now can you..."

Don't be silly Rowan, it's not June- if Mr Boo gets sex at Christmas too, he'll get giddy- no, let's stick to the annual knee trembler each summer, no need to become a nymphomaniac after all.
oh were you the bloke I shoved out the way to get the last copy of Nigellas latest... or the one I elbowed to get the puink flock reindeer from the paperchase concession
i get the impression the prices are often better online, because people price match so say amazon have to keep competitive to keep customers.

Also within seconds I can check the price, stock and delivery time for many items at once that would take ages on the high street walking round.

Only negatives are that you pay for delivery even on small items and you don't get to see the items up front in person so it might look different from the picture or get broken in the post. Of course the postal systems can also lead to delays.
but it doesn't annoy me because the time I save is of value ... but I do think some of the delivery charges are exorbitant so tend to go to sites where I know I will buy enough stuff to qualify for free delivery or a price discount
