Truffle soup - served w. a glass of Fino Sherry of Ch Rieussec

Selection of Cheeses (Cheddar, Stilton, Irish Cashel Blue, Goats Cendré, Pujol Navet, Vacherin (soak up the wine)

I'd have some of my favourites - a proper prawn cocktail (must be in a glass with a wedge of lemon and some of that brown stuff sprinkled on the top), poached smoked haddock, scrambled eggs and hollandaise sauce on a doorstep of hot buttered toast, and a blackcurrant cheesecake with actual blackcurrants on it (not one of those new-fangled swirly cheesecakes) or sticky toffee pudding with loads of cream.
