For my eldest sons girlfriend of 2 years age 23 - last year she was very unimpressed with what I thought was a nice fragrant oil burner from Next. I'm stumped on this one as she is a bit of an ungrateful madam but they are coming Christmas Eve to exchange pressies and I can't leave her out - a gift token is not an option as I know she just sells them on a web-site -and money is a bit 'off'. Any ladies (sorry females ) on here about the same age- what would be a good gift up to £25 in value please?
my first answer was a tad harsh, but I really can't be doing with ungrateful folk. Do you have a craft shop near you? A nice photo frame perhaps? Owd's suggestion is good.
Hi magsmay, I agree with Alba, this young woman sounds like a proper little mare. Have you asked your son for inspiration ? Or make a donation to charity in her name. Oxfam .
@Alba LOL! my sentiments exactly -she's a nice enough girl but we are not on the same wave level when it comes to Taste -she's more New Look than New Age ;-)
again at Alba - inspiration! I will look into getting her a nice picture frame -saw some nice ones in TK Max - her dad is a photographer and they are always getting their photos taken -thanks!
I like a fumble Owd, but Mrs Owd wouldn't be pleased :-) xx
The older alba's ex g-f (sniff) bought me a fridge magnet last Christmas (amongst other bits and pieces) We swapped silly gifts and had a good laugh. I miss her.
@beckers -last year I got a Voucher for a large store from her and my son and a charm for my bracelet -I was very pleased as I put it towards a small sewing machine I'd had my eyes on. Think it was my Son that did the gift shopping though.
