Our lovely c30 year old fibre optic tree has gone to bed for another 12 months
Well if I lived near enough I certainly do that! I've rung the council to arrange for it to go out with the recycling.

I have one to re-plant in the garden this weekend - hopefully the pup will help to dig the hole big enough :) Big Sis is undecided, as yet, whether to plant it in the garden or in the lawn, choices, choices ...
Can you replant Christmas trees, no roots?
Put the dust cover back on it and stick it back in the cupboard

It has roots :)
Ah, I see
At least it will give the sparrowhawk somewhere to hide.
To save the hassle of taking it down, I didn't put one up in the first place

P.S.

Big Sis couldn't make up her mind last weekend. She decided yesterday and duly planted it behind the rockery. Having done that she took a breather and read an article by Titchmarsh in the Sunday newspaper. He said they grow too big if planted in the soil so should be put into a large pot.

PMSL LMAO ROFL

She is going to dig it up and do just that :))))))))))

The moral of the story is do one's research first ☺
