Good Morning tamaris :o) Christmas Day and not the same for us, it's the first Christmas we haven't been with the Kids and Grandkids in 10 years. It feels very strange and quiet just being the 2 of us. The good news is we don't have to have Turkey for lunch and had a lie in until 8am. :0)

Do you have anything planned for today? What's for lunch?

Hi Tam...I'm waiting for a call from my Sister in NZ just now... Then going to prepare lunch, we're having Rib of Beef and all the trimmings. Not sure about pudding yet, we have several options but are usually too stuffed to eat any. Ive spoken with the Daughter and the kids are too excited with all their present so they're going to call me later :o)

Morning tamaris.....Happy Christmas....in here, take-off to my sisters in 90 minutes, house vacuumed and the fire laid up for yesterday, a bottle of Tokaji in the fridge chilling down, fresh coffee now to hand.

We normally have a Bucks Fizz Christmas morning with Breakfast but I'm not sure I want one this morning... Being just the 2 of us... I might be tempted to have more than 1 glass and then I'm buggered for the rest of the day :o(

Happy Christmas Tamaris :-) Hope you enjoy your turkey and am sure lots of people will stop by on AB to 'wave' a cheery hello to you today.
It's the first Christmas without my OH's dad, so we are going round to his mum's later to make her dinner and to make sure she's ok (and to be chief washer-uppers of course). Our dog always cheers her up too.

Hello tamaris! Hope you're okay and keeping warm. Just noticed all the usual rubbish on tele later, although I'd like to see 'Puss in Boots', as I've never watched that before. This is the first Christmas without my Dad, so I'm feeling a little wistful. It won't be long now that I'll have a new dog. He will keep me out of mischief and the exercise will be welcome.
I've just noticed that the Albert Finney 'Scrooge' is on in half an hour. Alec Guinness plays Jacob Marley in it, so maybe I'll take a peep. I don't usually like musicals, but I may make an exception in this case.
Anyway, tamaris, keep your chin up, have a nice glass (or two) of something that will make your insides glow. You know you want to!
