I am I the only adult that prefers kids toys for christmas instead of socks or bath products???

I'm 25 and just love to have fun all day playing games ...is anyone else a child at heart?

Im 30, and Ive already got the "Aw thank you, Its just what I wanted" spiel down to a fine art, as I open yet another bottle of aftershave etc.

While i look down and see my 8 year old brother playing with his toys..., luckily Im the designated helper to build and assemble these things, so I get to be a big kid for a bit as well...so all is good

Same as "designated"helper" what a good excuse I've used that loads over the years, as well as "let me show u how it works!"

What is it about the new packaging on toys with all those bendy wires which attach's the toy to it's cardboard base. It takes a year to get it free by which time everyones got bored and moved on. If it wasn't for kind, caring, people like ourselves helping the kids they would never get anything out the box!

Never too old for fun, I have a Wii on the way and plenty of board games.

my three year old daughter was given a huge box of proper Lego last week and (I'm not joking) we spent about 8 hours playing with it on Saturday - and I carried on after I'd put her to bed.

I am a very very very sad 36 year old.

Maybe one day I will have to grow up and decorate to look a bit more like an adults place. I have button moon pictures on wall and on my mantle Mr & Mrs Potato Head and all the muppet teddies around my living room. I'm a big kid, but its fun. :-)

i agree- i hate getting tools and boring stuff like that , id prefer a lightsabre and a darth vader mask so i can go into the police station on new years eve and report one of my tie fighters stolen.

My husband and I never had children but that hasn't stopped us buying daft kids toys for each other over the years, and this year wont be any different. We are like 2 big kids and I love it. X X X :-)

Lego - yes its what the world should me made of, I think all job interviews should involve lego building

Catwomen - I agree I'm young at the mo I know, but I m not looking towards having kids yet so well I can spend a good number of years being the only kid in the house,

I truly beleive I know so much about kids toys I should work designing them, have u seen the movie "Big"?.
