Party dress

My xmas party is coming up and I am struggling to find a perfect dress to wear. I'm looking for an ankle length one or below the knee. Although I am only a size 12 I have quite big hips and the dresses I have tried really make them stand out.

What sort of price range? Monsoon have very nice dresses and Wallis are always a good place to start. Also - and please understand I'm only trying to be nice - it's probably just you who thinks your hips stand out, at a size 12 I'm sure your figure is just lovely!

Try Dorothy Perkins as they can do some lovely ones and very reasonably priced as well. I find they cater well for us curvier girls :)

I always find Oasis and Topshop are nice for our size too

You should try a short little sweater dress with black leggings as if you have slim legs it covers everything in between and they are very flattering

i was in new look today and they had some lovely long a line dresses (which are the ones that hide your hips)lol
