People keep asking me what I want for Christmas and my mind is a total blank! I am 23 female, what are others getting then I can get some inspiration as what to tell people? I have only asked for some DVD's up to now and i'm getting shouted at!! thanks all
Interesting, my son's just asked me that question because he's off to Chicago for a shopping trip. I just said 'anything blues' (because I like the blues).
Generally, if people ask me, I tend to tell them what my interests are (music, books, writing etc.) and suggest they have a think around that. Then I say, 'failing which, just get me a book token" (here, you could suggest one of your favourite shops).
You could ask for gift vouchers for your fave clothes shop, then when the sales start you can grab yourself loads of bargains!!
Or what about things like a cocktail maker or chocolate fountain for those girlie nights in?
Perfume is always a good one to ask for. i can spend hours goings around the shops testing them all, then i go home and "hint" to my hubby about the ones i liked!! Usually works...LOL!
When my family asked I said any of the following:
Pirates of the Carribean 2 DVD (a movie you love or which has someone in it you love...Orlando Bloom!)
Boots or shoes from Office (make sure to give them your size, or a voucher)
Clothes from Topshop or Oasis
A nice jewelled evening watch from Next
A digi box as mine broke
Family tree software for my computer (maybe something to do with one of your hobbies)
One of the many perfumes I have but have run out of - Coco Chanel Mademoiselle
Earrings are always nice - the bigger the better for me
I found the easiest thing to do was go shopping and write down everything you like, but don't buy it. Then everyone who asks can get something from the list and you don't end up with unwanted gifts on Xmas day, which is what normally happens to me when I say I don't know what I want.
i've asked for all sorts of random stuff this year from friends and family:
coffee machine (senseo one is only 34)
perfumed body lotion
make-up & good quality make-up brushes
books, cd's, dvd's
bra & knicker set
dangly earrings
Of course if you really cant think of anything you want or need Oxfam and Save the children have great gift ideas for needy communities. I quite fancy a toilet!! or a Llama!
