her husband Albert introduced them from his native Germany, I believe
She's supposed to have stared at him as he was dragging in the tree and said 'We are not amused'.
Ah, so there began the tradition of having a fairy atop the Christmas tree!!
cuppa, she said 'Still pining for Germany?'
No she didn't, I was there!! Oh alright, but what wasn't she amused about then?
...... and Albert said, "If this doesn't cheer you up, then I'm off to the pub!"
well, maybe it was 'Fir goodness' sake'.
