Hi all,

I received of my SIL the most hideous top ever. I'm 35 and I dress like an average woman of my age. She got me a black top with pink spots on it, with lime green writing on the front which says sister's of thunder. The long sleeves have slits from shoulder to cuff and the back has dangly black things on it.
She then texted me and asked me did I like the top. She has never bought me anything like that before and I'm wondering why.

You are going to have to be honest and admit it is not your taste because if you lie to not hurt any feelings then you'll get something similar again for your Birthday. trust me on this - brute tactless honesty may be a better option right now.

Boo, I agree.
I have noticed this Xmas some very odd behaviour from my in laws.
My SIL is very close to her mum, so I think the pressie was bad on purpose or am I being pessimisstic?
