Hey we had fog and torrential rain, twas almost impossible for Mr N to drive back from Ibiza, where we had bought our turkey, but now it's quaite clement!!! Been for a couple of xmas drinkie poos - malibu and pi�a and two wines and now I'm anybody's- Cleaned house and Mr N made a lovely light lunch of pepper pate and cheese and crusty bread with Stones Ginger Wine, am orf now for a siesta - daughter arrives at 11pm so must sober and tidy meself. Thanks shaney for all help with xword - I won!!( amongst my friends)

You can't see an inch in front of your nose here ..it's a real peasouper ....We went over to my niece to deliver pressies and it was clear but coming back from Yarmouth it was as thick as porridge ...and there had been an accident on the bridge ..no one hurt though by the look of it but the police were breathalysing them ! Bloomin' fools to drink and drive .
Well I have cracked Christmas ....I hope ...and I flatly refuse to do any more shopping or go anywhere full stop apart from having to go to the the bazooms flattener tomorrow .
I am digging in for the duration ! I hope this calm weather lasts over Christmas though .I don't mind it when it's still and cold .
