Taking down the decorations
I took mine down yesterday and have been told it was bad luck. I thought it was only bad luck if they were not taken down BY 6th Jan. I once took them down on 27th Dec and had a very lucky following year.

According to The Times, The Church counts Christmas from sunset on Christmas Eve so Twelfth Night is on January 5th ! We have the habit of counting from Christmas Day, so we think Twelfth Night is on the 6th. Never heard of bad luck from taking the decorations down early, though.
