If so, what you going as? I'm going as a fallen angel & my OH as a ghost (original!!). What I do find shocking is my daughter & step-daughter, aged 14 & 15, want to go as sexy things i.e. witches, devils - they don't want to look scary??!!

i have a victorian suit with a top hat, i usually adapt shirt/accesories (wig/specs etc) to become an undertaker or dracula like this.

ohh they all do that now, believe me, I've noticed (the over 18's anyway!!), every halloween in the bar i worked in was just a big pervefest!

A great look Ankou! Wish we'd thought of this look of my OH sooner! I can understand people disliking it, it's one thing if it's about the little kids who come knocking and people who party in their own homes, but when you get the older kids traipsing the streets & 'trick or treating' it can be a bit intimidating.

The daughter does her living room and garden up for Halloween, it's like a witch's cave with flying (motorised) bats, a smoking cauldron, pumpkin lights etc. and her dressed as the witch. The local children think it's great, I think she may be mad.

I just refuse to answer the door after a certain time as all the young kiddies have gone home by then and I like seeing them in their costumes.
