The green one is vile. Black if you must have one of those two.

Black I have

Black one but make sure you wear a slip as it appears to be see through

The green one is truly awful. The black one is ...OK.

Do slips still exist?  I thought they went out of use years ago.

Yes they do Naomi, look in Marks and Spencer s

Black

No thanks, not for me.  Slips are out of the ark!  I thought they disappeared with corsets!  😂

green is my favourite colour - love it

Talking of slips, I have been reliably informed that many young women (older too, maybe) often wear some sort of undergarment that appears to be shorts under their short frocks and skirts.

My wife wears slips under some outfits, she says they stop cling and help frocks hang better.

Black, definitely not the green.

Just to clarify the green is a lovely colour but an awful dress 👗

If you wanted to look like a Christmas tree, just wear the first one with some bauble earrings

Do you own both dresses Abby?

Barry, they are called "skorts".

Lady golfers wear them.

Aren't skorts outer wear, shorts with a sort of modesty panel at the front so it looks like a skirt at the front and shorts at the back?

I have just been told I am thinking of spanx long leg shorts, an undergarment

Yes, your description of skorts is correct.

Lady golfers wear them, they bend down to get the ball out of the hole and expose their underwear.

Skorts prevent that happening.
