Im not sure if this is in the right section but i sure AB will move it if its not!!!! What can iget my mum for motghers day, bearing in mind that i live in ngland and she lives in Spain!?!! I dont know how far in advance i will need to post her pressie for it to get there on time, and what to even get her!!?

I am sure that your Mum will be delighted to get a card from you, or even a phone call. If you want to take a surprise pressie with you next time you visit, I am sure that that would be enough for her. I always used to say to my children that a bunch of daffs. was quite enough - after all its the thought that counts.

how about a nice photo with the necessary people in it? ie: you, your mum, dad? sisters, brothers grandkids? in a nice frame something that probaly wouldnt break easily. The post office would advise you when to send it, but my experience of posting parcels to Spain is a week before (if she has her own letter box) but if its going to the local Correos probably 10/12 days. good luck

I believe Interflora have a facility to deliver flowers overseas but it might be expensive. They probably have a website. Or if you try Googling "Local delivery of flowers in Spain" or something similar you might be able to find a Spanish organisation to do it more cheaply.

Expanding on Curlyperms great idea how about grabbing a videocam and making a movie of your life, kids, friends, pets, new house...... anything really. Copy it onto a DVD and post it off. Make a backup copy 'cos she'll wear the disc out in no time.
