They do some brilliant novelties, games, stocking fillers and party bag items, from 50p upwards. I remember filling some bags for one of my children's birthdays, and the kids loved what they found. They're of a decent quality, too. : )

Too late now I know, but charity shops are brilliant, my latest purchase for 50p was "Diary of a Face Lift" by Toyah Willcox for a 45 year old friend (we are limited to �2 each - how tight)

That certainly is a very small amount to spend! Acouple of decent bars of chocolate? Have a look in a 99p shop and get three of something? They sell all sorts of things for 99p..
