Ideas for fingerfood for a New Years eve party

I'm looking for slightly unusual combinations that sound like they may not go but work quite well thanks.

Mature cheddar cheese and good quality Strawberry Jam. Delicious.

I can't offer anything "unusual" mine are all a bit run of the mill but you could try:-

scallop and chorizo squewers
Cherry tomatos stuffed with pesto and sealed with a little mozarella
Smoked salmon croustades topped with horseradish cream beetroot and chives
Slices of cucumber topped with roasted crispy duck and topped with plum sauce
