Men over 40 wearing jeans and white trainers - NO!
Why do they do it? Must be a mid life crisis thing.

Jeans and trainers appear to have become the 'norm' for many. They are everywhere. Whatever happened to the smarter dressers? Recently when attending a school parents' evening it seemed like a Levi and Adidas promotion. Virtually all the guys were in their so-called casual wear My blazer and flannels with buttoned up shirt and tie almost became a conversation piece. Have you noticed the jeans and trainers also make appearances at restaurants, wedding receptions, theatre visits and the like. Each to their own I guess. Maybe my traditional wear is obsolete. But I don't give a jot.
I usually only wear Jeans for fishing, working or sometimes walking Max. To be honest I don't feel comfortable " going out" in them perhaps it's a hang over from when I was a lad in the 60's when it was the norm (at least where I lived) to go out smartly dressed and as for white trainers I haven't bought any since a stroke put an end to most of my sporting life
