I'm going as a fallen angel. I've got the halo/wings etc., but I have blonde hair and wanted to put sort of temporary black streaks in it - what would be the best thing to use, that would definitely wash out properly? I'd hate to turn up for work like a zebra!!

shoe polish?? Mascara?
Is you hair completely natural blonde if not don't risk it get clip ins or it will wash out green
What about clip in pieces? Like extensions... but just single strands. I'm sure you'd be able to get them cheaply from places like Claires Accessories. Or, I'm sure I've seen "hair mascara" somewhere??? Possibly a fancy dress shop.
Actually, shoe polish would probably work quite well if you only used a tiny amount. I think normal mascara would probably be too wet, and would leave the strands looking a bit rigid.

It's naturally blonde, but I have a few highlights in - maybe I'll just get clip on things, I'd die if it went green - imagine that, AFTER Halloween LOL!
Ebay sell hair mascara, it is usually used for covering up grey hair but can be used for temporary hair streaks.
There's quite a few sites that sell Black hair mascara. Weird why someone would use it to "cover grey", which is what it's meant for. Why not just dye the whole head?
for those with just a few grey hairs who are not ready to dye...

Poundland have coloured streaks why not black those up with a permanrent marker or mascara and clip them in...
