At the moment there are a lot of smock tops in various colours, leggings, and pinafore dresses in different colours.
If you pop in and have a look, why dont you try some things on and ask the shop assistant in the fitting room what looks good? i'm sure they would be happy to help.
hope this helps, x

Hiya! I know how you feel. Im 14 and all my friends say i look fashionable and up to trend but i still feel as though im dressing like a 'grown-up'!!
Look in kids sections of high street stores coz they have like mini versions of adults clothes. Also if you can fit into adult size 8's or even 6's then try some adult clothes on.
Hope i help ya x

im 15 && im really quite petite- i used to not be able to wait to fit in clothes like river island, topshop etc & now i do :-D even better in topshop now, they do size 4s- they are really tiny so r bound 2 fit u!
there just what everybody else wears & you'l look just as good in a tinier size..
how good is that!

its no problem- wel without arguing with your mum- try and explain to her that its YOU wearing the clothes so therefore it should be YOU choosing them! don't say it like that though cos otherwise she'll say you've got an 'attitude problem' lol! take her in Topshop & Miss Selfridge were they do size 4's- they have some lovely things in- & if you feel too dressed up in them, go for a casual but fashionable outfit! x
Abbie,
Hey! I'm around your age (12) and I know what you mean. It's hard finding clothes that make you look "stylish", but make you look 10. If you're looking to spend a little bit of money, try Target, or Kohls. they have very cute and stylish clothes for less than half of the cost. If you can fit in junior sizes, I would reccommend shoping in that section too. You can find lots of good clothes there, that make you look young also. Stores to try : Old navy, hollister, Gap, Target and Kohls
