Monsoon WOW

I have bought this lovely Monsoon Rich red silk dress (Sandy, red is its name, thats ironic as its mine too) for an evening out in London (the Ivy and a show). I am trying to decide which colour accessories to put with it. My initial thought is black but that seems a bit harsh. Anybody out there help with suggestions please help me.
I wan to get a shrug or small jacket, shoes, bag and jewellery.

how about silver jewellery, and shoes. then black for the bag and shrug/jacket?

I would go for gold and black. Gold shoes, shrug and black jet jewels. Bag in either colour.

Gold is a little less severe than black but very glam with red
