What is the sodding point in slippers that don't have a back ? You end up walking with a funny shuffling gait just to keep the bloody things on. Walk upstairs - and guess what - they fall off. Walk downstairs - same again. I ended up stripping naked, and barefoot was far superior to those stupid mules.

and it doesn't matter how glam looking slippers are you always look like an old lady when you put them on....I prefer to go barefoot too also Mr Hellion has foot fetish so it keeps him happy.

Are there men who like sucking ladies' toes ? Seems a bit off kilter to me. The usual time for pedicare is just after a bath, and even then when you clip off the worst bits you are still left with a disgusting cheesey smell. Baths do not penetrate under toenails. You end up with a little pile of semi-circular clippings balanced on the edge of the bath, or a sludge around the plughole which will not wash down.

I remember a few years back I was rushing home from work in central London in the summer with a pair of flat mules and someone trod on the back and I walked out of it and on for a bit before I realised (and then had to hop back to pick it up, nice look!). Went off of wearing them after that episode. Decided the cloddhopper who muled me was too close anyway regardless of show wear, so probably gave a bit of a look their way.

I was wearing slippers a few weeks ago and needed to go upstairs , after feeling they were falling off I decided to take them off in the interest of health and safety. However , on the way down again my bare feet were just as lethal as I missed my footing and ungracefully fell down stairs obtaining many bruises and removing strips of my skin from my arm and hip. !!!

Sir - I think you need to have a quiet word with your ankles here..... mules that answer back need to be taken in hand and seriously dealt with. Personally, I would ensure that they are dropped from the top bannister railing and not spoken to again until they promised to behave themselves. I have always found that my upstairs and downstairs treads totally behaved themselves once this sort of attitude was moofed off.
