Dress for jeans
I am looking to buy a couple of dresses to wear over jeans but not sure where to go. Have tried DP, Topshop & River island websites but not alot around right now it would seem. Are there specfic dos and donts for dresses with jeans - I am not the most fashion consious person around lol. I wear flared or slouched jeans, and I am fairly tall if that helps?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.i love wearing dresses over jeans! as im not too confident about my legs so it's better than wearing tights or leggings. i personally though always tend to wear skinny legged jeans underneath dresses, cos i think if you wear flaired jeans it could end up making you look a bigger than you are especially if its a floaty dress!
i would say not to wear a dress that goes below the knee as it would just look a bit silly so go for either a knee length dress or above.
i myself think that summer style dresses work best for the dressed down jeans look, however theres no many of those about now that winters nearly here! so most of the shops will be getting in their fancy party dresses which dont really work with jeans - though could possibly go with dark denim or black.
i think something like this would go with some nice black skinny jeans:

this kind of dress is a bit plain but this style would suit the more 'jeans' style look in my opinion..
