I think she has worn that dress a few times now. She seemed to be slated for it by the fashionistas, but I think it is great.

If it is a one-off how about trying to find some vintage material and have a go at making one yourself? it is only a shift dress so should be quite easy...or maybe you know someone who can make it for you?
