Hi everyone. I am going to a Christening in May and I have no idea what sort of thing to wear! I've looked at some dresses but some look a bit 'stuffy' and others are too casual! I should say that I am in my um....50s and quite tall-any ideas would be great!
Thanks
Maz xx

What about a suit instead? A cream trouser suit would be nice at this time of year

Thanks Bettyboo22. It's a good idea especially as I am different sizes top and bottom! Could look really good I think.LOL
So, maybe cream trousers and a nice longish top-yeah sounds great xx
I dont think there is any dress code just whatever you are comfortable in and something suitable to wear to a church. You may have got something by now but I was at a christening on Easter Sunday. You of course have your regular church goers there wearing whatever they fancied (some very casual) but with regards to the christening party it was quite mixed. I wore a kinda smart but fine t shirt material dress with some sandals and my friend wore just a summer skirt, t shirt and some pumps. On the other hand some of the party could have been over dressed at a wedding!! Enjoy!
